Built in 1900, this place served as a pharmacy and doctor’s office until 1932. Since 1933 it has been a neighborhood tavern, first as Serber’s Bar and then Mike’s Bar from 1949 until 2005.
Food, drink, sport and fellowship have been served up here since the days when the clientele was mostly the factory workers who called this Irish immigrant neighborhood home.
Now, Spencer’s Stadium Tavern, will continue the best parts of that tradition while we become a part of a new Indiana tradition. The menu will grow and hearty food & fine libations will be served here, and the game will always be on at Spencer’s.
A neighborhood tavern for the whole city.
